Eligibility Criteria
SOP (Student Orientation Programme - Grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 4 Lakhs)
- Students Innovative ideas in agriculture and allied sectors will be supported to transform ideas into viable businesses, products and technologies.
- Startup Registration is not mandatory for student applicants.
- A maximum of 4 students will be supported with financial assistance of up to Rs. 4 lakhs per student per financial year.
AOP (Agri-preneurship Orientation Programme - Grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 5 Lakhs)
- The applicant must have a registered legal entity in India (Private Limited/ LLP/ Partnership Firm).
- Must qualify as an Indian startup as per DPIIT (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) definition.
- This Support is not for subsidiaries of foreign MNCs
- Farmers, students, and youth working on innovative ideas in the agriculture and allied sectors are eligible to apply
- Start-ups already receiving grants /financial support from RKVY or any other Government source for the same project/product/activity are not be eligible under RKVY grant-in-aid support.
AOP Offerings
- Selected applicants will receive a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month during the residency training programme.
- After successful completion of training programme, selected startups will be eligible for grant-in-aid support of up to 85% of the project cost, subject to a maximum of Rs. 5 lakhs for Prototype Development, Testing & Validation, IP filing etc.,
- Selected startups can avail the provided with the incubation support with the office space, training, mentoring and dedicated support to further develop and refine the product as per the terms and conditions.
SAIP (Startup Agribusiness Incubation Programme - Grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 25 Lakhs)
- The applicant must have a registered legal entity in India (Private Limited/ LLP/ Partnership Firm).

- Start-ups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) are eligible to apply
- Selected startups will be provided incubation facilities including training and mentoring sessions and dedicated support to further develop, refine and commercialize the product as per the terms and conditions.
- The final selection of startup will be made by Selection and Investment Committee (SIC) & approve grant-in-aid upto Rs. 25 lakhs.
