KRISHIK-Agri Business Incubator is established at University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad as a Knowledge Partner under RKVY – Innovation & Agri-entrepreneurship Programme of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare (MoA&FW), Government of India during 2018-2019. It aims to promote Agri -entrepreneurship and Agribusiness providing financial and technical support to agriculture and allied sector startups. KRISHIK-ABI supports and guide four partner R-ABIs namely ICAR – Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (CIRCOT), Mumbai, National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Disease Informatics (NIVEDI), Bengaluru, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Maharashtra.

KRISHIK-ABI has successfully completed 11 cohorts | Supported 134 startups (30 women-led) (4 student startups) | 70 Pre-seed startups | 60 Seed stage startups | Recommended Rs. 14.26 crore grants | Rs. 10.24 crore Grant Released | Rs. 100 crore revenue generated |10 Lakh farmer’s benefited | Over 1000 jobs created | 36 patents granted |Over 300 incubatees trained with access to co-working space, mentorship, technical expertise, investor interactions and infrastructure.
